Having run out of the premixed Neti pot powder, I have researched online and found the simplest of substitutes. .5 tsp baking soda, .5 tsp sea salt (no iodine!), dissolve in .5 cup warm water.

Or, as I did it today, quarter cup baking soda, quarter cup sea salt, shake together in a jar, add a spoonful directly into the pot, pouring in the warm water stirs it for me.

It felt a little salty at first, but there was NO burning afterwards (as I occasionally got with the store-bought mix), so I think this is close enough.

Also, I could smell my coffee this morning. YAY!
