Mother's Day
| Today I tried to make the important women in my life happier by letting Jess sleep late and going to church with my mom. When I grew up, in Florida, in the Southern Baptist church, it was the tradition on Mother's Day to wear a rose, red if your mother was living, white if she had passed on. So I picked a bud from the front yard, but I was the only one there wearing one. Is anyone else familiar with this tradition?
