Blatently stolen from The Comic Curmudgeon (http://joshreads.com):

Mark Trail is a surrealist masterpiece. Let's analyze who is talking in each panel.

Panel 1. Cherry is talking, the potato in her hand responds.
Panel 2. Two of Cherry's bangs continue the conversation. She seems worried about this.
Panel 3. A giant bear passing by outside joins in.

This is acually a fairly normal Mark Trail. My favorites are when giant geese talk out of thier butts, interupting the main characters' conversations.

You should be reading The Comic Curmudgeon.

Museum Vrolik

The collection of the Museum Vrolik originates from the splendid private collection of anatomical (both normal and pathological), zoological and teratological specimens of Professor Gerardus Vrolik (1755-1859) and his son Professor Willem Vrolik (1801-1863).

I'd just like to point out that his name means "Billy Frolic".

  • Could these really be the proper names?
