This has once again convinced me that I must finish the oft-started ode to my great-grandfather, known merely as Greats. He saw his first car at the age of three, worked for the railroads, never got up before noon or slept before 2 am, chewed tobacco constantly and always wore engineer striped overalls over a white teeshirt. For some reason, mattress ticking reminds me of him.
