Getting my geek on!

Cleaning out the attic I found a treasure trove of old (well, 80’s) comics.

Elementals, Aristocratic Xtraterrestrial Time-traveling Thieves (and X-Thieves), Fringe, Black Kiss, Southern Knights, Yummy Fur, Savage Henry and a huge stack of early Cerebus.

EDIT: Mister X, Jake Thrash and CyberPunk books 1 and 2!!!

I’ll be busy the rest of the night.

(no subject)

So, I finally got around to that little meme.

As I said, Batman’s old tunic, Robin’s mask.

Batgirrrl, Batgirl! Batgirrrl, Batgirl!

Where do you come from, where do you go?
What is your scene, baby, we just gotta know.

Batgirrrl, Batgirl! Batgirrrl, Batgirl!

Are you a chick who fell in from outer space?
Or are you real with a tender warm embrace?

Yaaa, whose baby are you?
Batgirrrl, Batgirl!
Yaaa, whose baby are you?

From the files of Maintenance Man:

Basement of 1 Hero Avenue:

Frame one: Roger Stevens (a.k.a. Mr. America) walks by wearing blue robe, muttering to self (muttering carries across all frames)
“I don’t know why she thinks I can’t do this... I did my own laundry before we ever met... I’ve saved entire cities from destruction... I can wash my own suit if I need to...”
Frame two: Cyclotron in background, labeled “Not the Dryer”.
Frame three: Furnace in background, also labeled “Not the Dryer”.
Frame four: Roger pulls bright pink and purple Mr. America costume from dryer. “Uh oh...”

This of course leads to a fight with Ms. America and a lawsuit from Pinkman.
