Bastille Day!

The firecrackers started at midnight last night. 10 am today we were awakened by fighter jets.

It's a national holiday, so all the necessary stores, like groceries and stationary, are closed, but all the tourist stores are wide open.

There was a parade this morning, which I slept through. Tonight, however, I do plan to photograph the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower.

The Escheresque image is me at the Jardin du Palais Royal yesterday.

She wouldn't be needing this anymore. She didn't need anything anymore. It felt nice.

Thanks for the kind words about my last post.
